Promoting regional food and agricultural products

This strategy has three main components:

The Languedoc-Roussillon region has defined the Sud de France brand as encompassing all wine, food and agricultural products produced in Languedoc-Roussillon and capable of embodying the values of this brand. As such, the Sud de France brand is an invaluable economic development tool that the Languedoc Roussillon region supports with extensive promotional measures.

The Languedoc-Roussillon region also provides special support to quality-certified sectors such as organic farming.

The ultimate goal of the brand is to create added value and employment by empowering the commercial strategies of regional firms and providing them with a strong, clearly identifiable brand to facilitate and boost commercial negotiations.

« Sud de France » intends to represent the Languedoc-Roussillon, a region renowned for its exceptional wines, food and agricultural products, natural environment and cultural treasures.
